Current Opportunities
Impact Programs Team Leader
The Impact Programs Team Leader is responsible for connecting families with Children’s Hospital Foundation programs and information that supports their healthcare experience.
Reporting to the Impact Programs Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Coordination and delivery of quality entertainment and distraction programs and initiatives, such as: Kidzone playroom, Loans, Bedside Play, Book Bunker, and the Foundation’s in-kind donation program.
- Being the first point of call for families and volunteers and play an essential role in creating a positive experience.
- The daily coordination of volunteers, including delivery of volunteer training and inductions, monitoring of volunteer compliance and attendance.
Who are you?
- A warm and engaging person with a high level of emotional IQ, able to read a room and confidently interact with persons from all walks of life.
- Possess a level of comfort to recognise and hold space for the emotive environment of a tertiary healthcare facility.
- Action orientated and full of energy for things you see as challenging, not fearful of trying new things and enjoy responding to a fast-paced environment to complete tasks on time.
- A strategic thinker who uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions that stretch beyond the obvious
